Praise Others Project (December 28th) - John Moore

John Moore is the writer of The Brand Autopsy Blog and a great book, Tribal Knowledge. This guy knows marketing strategy like nobody's business! He made his mark in the marketing world by creating, championing, and implementing marketing ideas and branding ideals for Whole Foods Market and Starbucks Coffee. Today, through speaking engagements and through his Brand Autopsy Marketing Practice, John shares business and marketing advice with companies aspiring to become the next Whole Foods or Starbucks.

I have never met John (although he does live in my town of Austin, TX), but I admire him for both his knowledge and the way he writes. His blog is internationally read and widely quoted. He calls himself the "marketing medic"....which is exactly what most companies are in need of....emergency medical attention for their braning and marketing!!!

His book is an insider's view of what how Starbucks embraced marketing as they grew up to be the behemoth they are today. Readers will learn many of the endearing and enduring principles Starbucks follows, including:
