Selected Presentations:

Connecting With People in a Social Media Crazy World:
There is more to building business relationships than a "like", and "link", a "share" or a "follow".  While social media and mobile tools have taken over our lives, they do not replace the importance of long-term and mutually beneficial human relationships.

Many have spent years engulfed with social media, but not everyone feels they can show the accomplishments that translate to more business.

Taking ownership of our brand and reputation while establishing contacts with the people who can and will become part of our ongoing success is paramount to lasting career success.  This program will educate and inspire professionals in all industries to integrate their in-person and on-line activities and bring them to a better understanding of what it means to "network".

The Conference Catalyst:
Networking opportunities are one of the main reasons cited for attendance at conferences, conventions, trade shows, and seminars. However, most people never take full advantage of meeting the other amazing people in the audience. Thom Singer will serve as your "Conference Catalyst" and help make your meeting a more successful experience for those in attendance. Speaking not once, but in short bursts throughout the conference, Thom will give the attendees the necessary permission to make the contacts they desire.

Cooperative Significance- Being Influential at Work:
Most people want to feel significant: at home, at work, in their faith community, etc.... But you cannot feel significant alone in a field.  You need others.  A person can fake success, but they cannot fake significance.  Showing others their importance and significance is key if you desire the same in return.  Too often in our busy world we get overly focused on our own "Stuff", and that keeps us from recognizing what is going on with the people around us in our daily lives.  Discovering what is important and interesting to other people is more important now than ever before.  This program is idea to educate and inspire anyone to make people a priority while learning to maximize influence and effectiveness.

Work of Leaders (Everything DiSC):
Everything DiSC Work of Leaders® is classroom training that uses online pre-work, engaging facilitation with contemporary video, and online follow-up to create a personalized learning experience. Based on best practices, Work of Leaders connects to real-world demands, generating powerful conversations that provide a clear path for action.

Everything DiSC Work of Leaders approaches leadership as a one-to-many relationship, as opposed to the one-to-one relationship explored in Everything DiSC Management. It focuses on tangible steps directed at leading a group or organization toward desired outcomes.

Using the framework of Vision, Alignment, and Execution, Work of Leaders encourages leaders to understand their own leadership behaviors and how they impact their effectiveness. Rich, compelling narrative adds depth to the data and strong visuals support the learning process by illustrating key messages.

Some Assembly Required:
Marketing, Sales, PR, Business Development, Networking, Social Media, and Advertising all contribute to creating your personal and professional brand.  Those who create a collective balance of these business disciplines can establish stronger reputations that will lead them to greater success.  Thom Singer's book, "Some Assembly Required: How to Make, Grow and Keep Your Business Relationships" is an important tool for every professional.  Your network is even more important in a rough economy.  Those who have a strong network of contacts will have more opportunities.  However, many do not know how to cultivate real relationships that can and will lead to more business. This presentation goes beyond the basics of networking and inspires the audience to cultivate real connections by creating an "Integrated Visibility Program".  Thom works with professionals to understand the power of their relationships, and turn that into real business.

Sales Training:
Making connections is a great first step, but taking action and converting your network into real opportunities is what produces results. This seminar encourages the audience to discover opportunities through both traditional sales methodologies and utilizing the online tools that are common today.  Too many organizations shy away from making sales a priority and hope that their reputation alone will bring new clients.  Call reluctance and other fears limit the necessary actions.  Encourage your team to sell, as without sales there is no future success.  This full day program utilizes DiSC Workplace Assessments, lecture and hands on exercises.
The ABC's of Networking:
Building your personal brand can be as easy as A-B-C. With just a few carefully chosen examples, your organization can be motivated to capture all the benefits of your personal and professional networks. Light hearted but inspiring, this presentation is for everyone who wants to build their personal brand.

Everyone Is In Business Development (Sales Training or Keynote):
Providing your employees with the right skills to help sell your products and services is necessary to grow your business. Promoting the company is not just the job of the sales team, but everyone in the company shares in this role.  This customizable sales class is designed to help motivate, educate and create a business development culture.  The class includes individual DISC profiles, lecture and team discussions.
