-Henry David Thoreau
In Boston to speak at a business meeting I had some time to visit Walden Pond (near Concord). Although it was raining I hiked around Thoreau's famed Walden Pond. It was peaceful (the park was empty because of the weather). In such an environment the mind has the time to simply appreciate life. We do not get the chance in our busy world to do that often enough.
I have always liked Thoreau and now understand why he chose to live in a hut overlooking this beautiful pond. The above quote about advancing confidently has long been one of my favorites, and I thought about how people go for their dream, and live their lives. He is right. Success unexpected is waiting to meet each one of us. Keep moving toward your dreams.
Have A Great Day.
